Dual Rest LC99
A two-tier footrest. It helps you shift posture between focus and rest.
This page contains the same information as the printed manual. Feel free to read only the sections you need. Before using the product, please read "Safety Precautions" first.
01
Quick Start
Three steps and you're set. No tools required.
-
Unbox and Check
The box contains the footrest and the manual. If you also purchased the optional upper cushion cover, lower cushion cover, or desk blanket, please check those as well.
-
Set the Height
The product ships at a commonly used default height. If you are 180cm (about 5 ft 11 in) or shorter, we recommend starting from the default height and fine-tuning it until it feels comfortable.
For the detailed procedure, see Fitting It to Your Body.
-
Use It
Place it under your desk where your feet naturally rest, and change your posture by moving between the front tier and the rear tier. Do not stand or sit on the footrest.
02
Fitting It to Your Body
Upper- and lower-body proportions differ from person to person, so we do not provide a standard height chart. Follow the steps below to set it up for yourself.
Height adjustment demonstration video (coming soon)
Adjustment Steps
-
Start with Your Chair
Adjust your chair to find the point where your elbows are at the same height as the desktop. Use that point as the reference for the steps that follow.
-
Level Your Thighs
Adjust the height under your feet until your thighs are parallel to the floor. Use the point where the underside of your thighs is not pressed as your reference.
-
Footrest Height
Set the footrest height based on how far your feet are off the floor. In general, we recommend going one level higher.
-
Front-to-Rear Difference
To keep your ankles at a comfortable angle, set the rear height 2 to 3 levels higher than the front.
Tip
For a comfortable posture, it helps to make sure you have enough clearance under your desk.
Height Levels
| Level | Height (mm) | Height (in) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 32 | 1.3 |
| 2 | 50 | 2 |
| 3 | 68 | 2.7 |
| 4 | 86 | 3.4 |
| 5 | 104 | 4.1 |
| 6 | 122 | 4.8 |
| 7 | 140 | 5.5 |
| 8 | 158 | 6.2 |
| 9 | 176 | 6.9 |
The values above are measured at the frame hole positions. The footplate adds about 20 mm on top, so the actual support height is roughly 5–19 cm.
Setting the front and the rear independently gives you 81 combinations in all.

If a screw spins freely because of damage, grip the screw head with a tool such as needle-nose pliers and tighten it from the opposite side. If it still will not hold, please let our customer service team know.
It creaks while I'm using it.
Screws may loosen during use. If you hear noise, retighten the screws. Note that overtightening can damage the parts, so do not force them — tighten just enough to hold.
The cover seems too small and is hard to fit.
At first the cover may feel tight, as if it were too small. This is normal, and it becomes easier to attach naturally as you use it. Secure both ends with the hook-and-loop fastener first, then attach the center by gathering the fabric in from both sides rather than stretching it, and finally tighten the buckle.
How do I wash the cushion covers?
The cushion cover fabric is CORDURA® re/cor™ recycled nylon. Check the care label attached to the product before washing, and follow the label instructions for washing and drying. For the desk blanket, follow the washing instructions provided, and avoid high-temperature washing and bleach.
One of the rubber feet came off.
The feet are made of TPR, and strong impact or a drop can make them come off or be lost. If you have lost one, please contact our customer service team.
Can I use it barefoot?
Yes, you can. Just take care not to catch your toes between the frame parts when using it barefoot.
Is it fine to use on hardwood floors or carpet?
Do not use it on slippery floors. It can be used on other floors, but do not rotate the product while using it, as it may tip over.
Why set the front and rear to different heights?

How do I reassemble it after changing the height?
After deciding the front and rear heights, reassemble it in the reverse order of disassembly. Align the square head of the screw exactly with the adjustment hole, press it in place with your finger to hold it, and turn the nut on the opposite side to fasten it. Finally, press lightly on the frame to level it and tighten the screws once more. No tools are required.
Will the color change over time?
ABS material may discolor if exposed to direct sunlight for a long time. Keep it out of direct sunlight and heat, and do not place it near a heat source such as a stove or heater.
